I work with a wide range of problems including: anxiety, panic attacks, depression, stress-related illness, post-traumatic stress, hyperventilation, insomnia and adults with a history of childhood neglect or abuse.
I devote my first meeting to obtaining the client’s story, identifying the presenting problem and clarifying the goals of therapy. At that time, I encourage my clients to raise any questions, and an overall brief plan of the structure of therapy is discussed.
Subsequent sessions may use a combination of different therapeutic approaches to address emotions, thoughts, behaviour and lifestyle, according to each person’s needs.
