APPOINTMENTS & FEES
For appointments please make contact by telephone or e-mail.
Duration of therapy and decisions about when to end are usually made by mutual agreement, and this is usually discussed at the end of the first meeting.
The fee structure can be discussed at the time of booking an appointment. Individuals may be self-funding, covered by their private healthcare insurance, or occasionally funded by their employers.
A referral letter from the GP or consultant is often helpful, and may be required by some insurers. As an experienced Consulting Psychologist, I am recognised by all the major quality medical insurers. If you are uncertain whether or not you are covered by a policy, please speak to the insurer or contact me for assistance.
If payment is to be made via a health insurer, please be aware that their systems vary widely. Payment arrangements with the insurer should be clarified at the outset by the client. Please note that clients are liable for any shortfall in payment from insurers.
48 hours’ notice is required if an appointment is to be changed.
Sessions
I take a flexible approach when providing sessions to clients. Sessions can be held online (Zoom), over the phone and also in person. I am happy to discuss your preferences in our initial meeting and aim to accommodate them, wherever possible.
